The state of Virginia is known as the Mother of Presidents. This is because eight American presidents are from there. They can also boast that they have the lowest unemployment rate in the United States and the most counties of the 100 wealthiest in the entire United States.
Virginia has more technology workers than any other state as well. It is also the fourth highest amount of venture capital funding in the United States. The average income for residents of this state is $61,882. Some of the other industries in Virginia are food processing, aerospace, automotive, life sciences, plastic and advanced materials, and distribution.
