Desert Hot Springs
Located in the Coachella Valley of Riverside, you would think that Desert Hot Springs would be a pretty safe area. The “Desert Empire,” as some call it, is reported as having a CI of 6 and two murders, four rapes, 63 robberies, and 209 assaults occurred in 2013. The last census reported a population of 25,938.
