This trail is 2.6 miles and is located inside the Peters Canyon Regional park. It loops around a huge artificial reservoir, and you are also treated to expansive views of the local canyon. The surfaces are unpaved and wide, so if you want to run with a partner, you can do so comfortably.
This is a challenging place to run, as there are rolling hills and a number of inclines. If you want to run here, be ready for a workout. After you are finished running, take some time to do some bird watching, or consider one of the other trails in the park.
