Just over a mile long, this trail is located inside the Cleveland National Park. There are a number of pine trees, which is unusual for the area. The Penny Pines reforestation program is in effect here, so it is interesting to note different trees of varying ages as you run.
The trail offers a dirt surface. There are not very many inclines on this trail, so it is rather easy to run on. A busy road dissects the trail near the south end, and the trail starts at the El Cariso Fire Station in case you need any assistance.
