Running on the Turtle Rock Nature Center trail allows you a chance to soak in some sun and learn more about nature while you’re at it. This is a good place to run and hike with your children, as there are a number of small trails that won’t tire them out. The surface is paved asphalt.
In addition to running through the Nature Center area, the Nature Center building offers a lot of information about the plants and wildlife in the area. At times, the Center houses small local animals for a period, so you may be able to see them. You might also spot raccoons, horned owls, and other animals at the pond.
