French fries are harder to avoid than most other foods. Fries are available in almost every fast food restaurant, and in most dine-in restaurants as well. French fries are also very convenient to eat. When you are running late and need to grab something on the go, it’s easy to clutch a cup of fries and polish them off one by one.

A cup of fries can have around 400 calories, for the medium sized fry cup. Fries are also submerged in oil for deep frying and contain high carbohydrate and fat amounts. By eating a fry with your meal, you are adding up to one third of a day’s caloric limit.
