Just as the name implies, you jump out of a helicopter, and make your way down the slopes on a pair of skis. The freefall state provides the ultimate rush that adrenaline junkies seek out in such sports. Yet the drop is only the beginning.
Unpacked snow rocks are just one of the dangers which lie below. You can’t see what is directly below the upper level of snow when you make your way down the slope, which is normal for all ski sports.
