Although not as well-known as the other cities, Sanibel is still one of Florida’s top places to live. It is also proof that a city doesn’t have to have a large population in order to qualify as a great city. The great thing about small communities in Florida, however, is you can still take advantage of all of the things that people love about Florida and if you want to visit a large city, there are a number of them nearby.
Sanibel’s inviting locals are passionate about preserving their significant amount of wildlife and small-town quality. This community is made up of only 5,700 people, and they’re known to be very tight-knit and friendly. If you’re looking to relocate to a more environmentally conscious area, this definitely fits the criteria.
