Ships That Offer Discounts for Early Reservations
Some ships accept reservations a year or two in advance, and you’re likely to pay less if you book your trip early. Experts recommend booking your trip at least 8 months in advance. This is especially true if you’re planning a summer vacation, as this is the busiest time of the year.
When making your reservations, make sure you ask the cruise line if they offer a refund if you cannot make it. In some cases, something may come up where you are not able to go on the cruise. If they do not, you may be able to sell your tickets to try to get some of the money back.
