Poway Unified School District is located in northern San Diego, California. Heavily community-oriented and focused on keeping students involved, it is home to 37 schools and over 30,000 students at any given time. When tested for math and reading against national averages, a respectable 80 percent of students achieved or excelled.
This district is unique in that it accommodates not only young students, but adult students, too. It’s a place where everyone can access an excellent education, whether in kindergarten or returning as an adult. Poway Unified School District also has a continuing education center available to students in high school and for those who are older.
