Baby Mittens
This is a baby item that many people don’t think of unless it’s winter, but baby mittens can save your baby’s face. When babies are born, they scratch at their faces. Their tiny nails can scratch hard enough that it really hurts, and will cause not only crying, but scratch marks all over the face.
If you do not want to trim your baby’s nails, baby mittens should be worn while they are awake until they get some control over their arms. You may be sent home with some of these mittens from the hospital. If not, purchase a few pair of your own to help protect your baby’s face.
