Fantasia Barrino’s story as a struggling single mother touched viewers from the very beginning and showed her courage and determination in reaching her goals. Her talent as a singer made her a difficult contestant to beat and led to her success in the music industry.
Barrino finished her appearance on American Idol as the winner of season three. After that, she was nominated for three Grammy awards, one of which she took one home. She has released a total of four albums since she was the winner on the show, and has sold more than 3.16 million records through these album sales.
