You Can be Dropped
If you file more than two claims, within a five year period, you can be dropped, and most insurers won’t protect you after that. This is known as the habitual claimant rule in many states.
There are some things you simply can’t avoid. But, insurance companies put these clauses in their policy to protect themselves as well. Be mindful of this when you are assessing the severity of the claim you are considering.
