10 Safest Places to Run in Riverside County, California

Nichols Park

Shoot some hoops or play a game of catch with your friends, then go for a run on the trails of Nichols Park. Some portions of Nichols Park are under construction, but the park is still open to the public. There have been no recent reports of violent incidents occurring in or around the park, although there is a registered sex offender who resides a couple miles away.

The park is open all year, and you do not have to be a resident of Riverside County to use the facility. The trail loops around the exterior of the park, and it has a slight elevation. Enjoy a beautiful view of lush, grassy fields and tall, leafy trees as you jog through the park.
