While it has been known for cats to occasionally purr or nudge you to pet them, they don’t beg nearly as much as dogs do. If you’ve ever had a dog in the home that sits near the dinner table, you’ll understand the degree of begging that goes on with dogs. You also don’t have to worry as much about cats snatching your steak from your plate when you aren’t looking.
Dog owners know that the minute they go to make a meal or sit down for dinner, their dog is by their feet, begging for anything to be thrown their way. Cats aren’t picky eaters that seldom come after you for your food at dinner time. Sure, they might not like everything you feed them, but they don’t complain usually won’t pester you for a piece of what’s on your plate.
