10 Reasons Cats are Better than Dogs

They Purr

Cats often purr, which is often a sign of their content. Dogs do not have the same quiet, relaxing, method of showing you how happy they are. In fact, if a dog is happy, he or she may jump on you (or visitors), knock you down, and slobber profusely all over everything.

A cat’s purr is soothing, and is said to help reduce stress levels, and even help in bringing your blood pressure down. This is not the case with the loud, and sometimes obnoxious barking of certain dog breeds. Cats can help and calm you down. And, the sound of a purring cat is something rather enjoyable to most people.
