According to the Gallup poll, North Dakota is known as the Happy State and people living here have a good sense of well-being.

North Dakota is also known for its oil production, and many of the residents have a job somehow related to the industry. It is because of this industry, that you may be able to rub shoulders with millionaires if you choose North Dakota. Their current state tax rate is $5,588 per year.
