Iowa is known as a sleepy little state, located in the Midwestern area. One of the good things about this slow-paced state is that gas tends to be lower than other states in the union. Gas in Iowa has dropped to just above $2. Both regular and premium gas has often been just above the $2 mark within the state. Iowa doesn’t brag about their gas prices though. The residents just keep going about their daily lives, relieved to live in an area where they can afford to drive to work.
The good thing about low gas prices in Iowa is that they extend to the large and small cities. Both Sioux City and Mount Pleasant share gas prices of $2.05, with similar prices reported in the surrounding counties. Those taking a trip to Iowa will appreciate the level prices throughout the state.
