10 Weirdest and Most Unbelievable Laws in New York

Minors under 16 cannot play video games during school hours.

In Suffolk County, specifically the town of Babylon, it is illegal for adolescents to play commercial video games when school is in session. While the law probably would show some conducive results when it comes to schoolwork, it doesn’t seem like a law that would be able to hold up.

Almost every state in the U.S. has laws that have become obsolete overtime, and a lot of them are in need of revising. While these laws aren’t usually enforced on a day-to-day basis, it is interesting to see how these strange laws have carried over into the twenty-first century!
