People who live in Utah also seem to get married at a younger age than in other states. The average age that Utah’s men and women decide to tie the knot is respectively, 23 and 21 years of age. Although this isn’t by far an outlandishly young age range for marriage, this is lower than that of individuals who are living in regions outside of Utah.
This age range for marriage is approximately 3.5 years younger than the ages of people in other states who choose to get married. Further, according to the same survey in 2003 by the state Governor’s Commission on Marriage, married couples in Utah are also 74% more likely to be happy than those in other states.
