The great state of Texas is the second largest state in the union, and continues to hold a large amount of the population. With the high demand of gas in Texas, many assume that gas prices are higher. However, gas in Texas has actually been lower than the majority of the United States.
Texas is a large state which means that gas prices can widely range, but a great many cities have prices under $2.50. Even very popular cities such as Houston and Dallas offer gas that is below $3. Traveling through this big state has never been easier.
