Virginia
As with other southern U.S. states, Virginia is known for having fair pricing in general. Virginia is also a key state in between the northeast and south, and is likely to be driven through when traveling from region to region. Luckily for road trippers, Virginia has gas prices that are below many other areas.
In a few select areas, the gas in Virginia has hit below $2, well before the other cities in the nation. Many gas stations in Virginia are selling gas at under $2.10. The highest price gas sellers in Virginia are still mostly under the $3 mark.
