Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul
Many of the books in Jeff Kinney’s series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, have made best selling lists and the #9 book, The Long Haul, is no different. There are currently over 150 million Diary of a Wimpy Kid books in print worldwide, which have been sold in over 44 territories in 42 languages. The Long Haul was published by an imprint of ABRAMS, Amulet Books. three movies based on the series have also grossed over $250 million internationally.
The Long Haul continues Greg Heffley’s journey with adolescence and the trials of having both an older teen brother and a younger toddler brother. In this book, the Heffley family decides to take a family road trip which ends up being turned from the worst road trip ever to an unforgettable adventure. The Long Haul sold 5.5 million copies in 2014 and is considered the biggest U.S. first printing of any book in 2014, despite being released at the end of the year.
