Duval County public school district has 32 high schools. It has three schools that received gold, silver, and bronze medals according to the U.S. News Best High Schools Ranking. The district’s average SAT score is 1630. The students average a score of 540 in math, 550 in reading, and a 540 in writing.
Some of the schools that are ranked high include Paxon Schools for Advanced Studies, and Darnell Cookman Middle/High School. Stanton College Preparatory School is another high-ranking school that is great to help children prepare for college. This district has approximately 125,686 students enrolled in schools.
