This show, known simply as “O” (pronounced “eau” for the French word for water), has been performed at the Bellagio in Vegas since 1998. While produced by Cirque du Soleil, this performance is different from most of the acrobatic shows primarily because it actually takes place in 1.5 million gallons of water.
Cirque du Soleil is known for the great choreography, amazing acrobats, and death defying leaps they take on stage. This “O” production is just that, with so much more. New moves, new characters, and never before seen stage presence, all wrapped up into just over one hour of show time. The visual montage, the circus acts, synchronized swimming, and high flying acrobats, all in water, are considered quite impressive.
