The Amityville House
Moviegoers and paranormal researchers are well aware of the location of the Amityville Horror. The subject of multiple movies and made-for-TV programs, this house inspired chills and excitement for decades after the original situation occurred.
The Amityville House was the site of the DeFeo family murders. Six family members were slain by the eldest son, Ronald DeFeo Jr. Since the date these atrocities occurred, there have been many unexplained events. Most of these happened when another family moved into the house. In fact, some people theorize that new people moving in may spur on additional happenings.
