Want to make a weird name even weirder? Spell it wrong. At least, that’s what Jason Lee must have been thinking when he decided to name his son Pilot Inspektor. Beth Riesgraf, Jason’s former partner, is the boy’s mother.
Their son’s crazy name comes from a Grandaddy song titled “He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s the Pilot” that Jason loved. Apparently, the boy’s mother was also a huge fan of the song and felt it was an appropriate inspiration for a child’s name. Hopefully Pilot Inspektor lives up to the aspirations his parents have carved out for him.
