Cancel Cards

If you have credit cards you haven’t used in months, or years, cancel them. Yes, having open lines of credit can increase your credit score; but, one or two is more than sufficient.

Further, the less credit you have open at once, the less you have to monitor. There is less for you to keep track of, and fewer opportunities to become a victim of identity theft.
