Certified Mail
Letters get lost, and dates get confused. When sending out a payment, or any correspondence with the agencies for that matter, make sure to send it out certified mail.
Even if it gets lost and delayed, you are covered. It shows everything was sent in a timely fashion, and protects you against penalties, late payment fees, and extra expenses.
