The Rose Bowl Loop is located in the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena. It has over 22 miles of trails for horseback riding, jogging, biking, and hiking. This park has roads that are paved and unpaved for you to run on, so you can choose exactly the type of terrain you want to challenge yourself with. There are also some steep grades if you want to add a bit of a challenge to the strength portion of your run.
The Loop is three miles long and it circles the famous Rose Bowl Stadium and the Brookside Golf Course. The pavement in the park is colored to show where pedestrians can walk and where runners can run. This helps avoid some of the confusion that can come with combining runners and walkers, so you don’t get frustrated. There is also a separate area for bicyclists, so feel free to switch things up and go for a bike ride here instead of a run when you want to.
