They’ll Notify You of Danger
There have been a number of documented cases where a dog has saved a family by alerting them of a house fire or burglary. If they sense any threat around the home or for your family, dogs are often the first to let you know.
Cats, on the other hand, are less likely to be able to notify you of danger. It is more likely that a cat would simply find a way to walk out of the front or back door, leaving you and your family to find a way to ward off the danger. Your dog is there for you, and will call you when they sense any type of danger around the family or the home.
