Colgin Cellars is a true hidden gem among Napa Valley’s best wineries. Specializing in red wines, their selection and location alike are frequently alluded to in the press. The Colgin story is youthful, starting with fine art expert Ann Colgin in the late 1980s, but their wines are anything but inexperienced.
Starting out using grapes from Lamb Vineyard, and then moving on to Tychson Hill Vineyard after 2007, each delicious grape is meticulously processed using neo-classical winemaking strategies. The result is several sublimely-blended wines that highlight Pritchard Hills’ best offerings. To taste these wines yourself, schedule well in advance–Colgin Cellars is extremely exclusive and typically carries a waiting list.
